UK pushes to raise contactless limit to £ 100
The contactless limit is set to address fraud, so increasing the limit should address the impact on fraud and prevent any increases.
Banks really should promote mobile contactless payments using their cards virtually (Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay, etc.). But since mobile payments are safe for Covid (more so than contactless cards with SCA) and secure, banks should do more to promote mobile payments.
